Sherry Hammond, Principal

Sherry is a Certified Hudson Institute Coach and a member of the International Coach Federation with a specialty in working from the inside out to help build effective strategies and practices to achieve breakthrough and transformative results for her clients. Sherry is adept at coaching executives, working with leaders in skill development and team building, and helping leaders move successfully through career transitions.

Sherry is a Registered Dietitian with more than 25 years of healthcare experience. As a Health Care Administrator she had oversight for Patient Experience, Center for Healthy Living, Nutrition Services, Employee Wellness, and other support departments for a five-hospital system. She has extensive experience in leadership training for patient experience, strong skills in financial management, program development, process improvement, and employee relations.

Over the past five years, Sherry has been practicing mindfulness techniques through participation in the Jon Kabat-Zinn Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction program, mindfulness retreats, and curriculum training course work for Mindful Schools. At Hammond & Ebersole, we are venturing to incorporate the neuroscience and impacts of mindful, positive approaches to enhance leadership performance, wellbeing, and overall appreciation and presence in life.

Sherry has a BS in Food Science and Nutrition with an MBA.  She has completed Lean training for executives and held positions as a Health Care Administrator and Director for Nutrition Services in a large heathcare system. She is a Senior Fellow with the American Leadership Forum and serves on two Boards: as Past President for Safe Streets, a local non-profit community organization, and as Vice Chair for All As One, a children’s center in Sierra Leone, Africa. In her free time, Sherry enjoys bike riding and has participated in the Courage Classic five times. This is a 175-mile ride over three mountain passes that helps raise funds for neglected and abused children in her community. She also enjoys reading, cooking, golfing, hiking, and walking four miles nearly every day.

Drew Ebersole, Principal

Drew has been coaching in various forms over the last 15 years. His absolute commitment to partner with people as they make transformational shifts defines his dedication to his clients.

Drew has passion and rich expertise in classic mindfulness practices and systems, and coaches/teaches these applications in multiple personal and professional settings. He has spent the past 12 years steeped in Insight Meditation Center training, with personal tutelage from master teacher Jude Rozhon. Hammond and Ebersole, are creatively and dynamically incorporating neuroscience research and impacts of mindful, positive practices to dramatically enhance performance, well-being, and presence.

Drew is a Certified Hudson Institute Coach and a member of the International Coach Federation with extensive leadership and coaching experience. He is a Senior Fellow with the American Leadership Forum, has a BA in Liberal Arts and has received post-graduate training in marriage and family counseling. He has held positions of Education Director for a professional theater company, Executive Director for a non-profit foundation, and Director of Patient Experience for a large healthcare system. He has been referred to as the “Nurse and Doctor Whisperer,” connecting on a deep and meaningful level with people to achieve breakthrough performance in communication, trust building and personal well-being. He is the Board Chair for All As One (a children’s center in Sierra Leone, Africa) and serves on myriad community coalitions. He has also had an extensive career as a professional actor in NY and LA for over 15 years and uses his extensive experience to inform his work with living into the truth, facing fears, and being empathically and completely present. His credits include leading and guest-starring roles in the films “Our Son the Matchmaker,” “Infinity,” Murder in a College Town,” “Cry Baby,” and TV programs “ER,” “That 70’s Show,” “Dharma and Greg,” “JAG,” “Diagnosis Murder,” “Pacific Blue,”  and on professional stages on Broadway, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, and Seattle. He has trained and worked with such people as Mathew Broderick, Olympia Dukakis, Johnny Depp, Ann Jillian, Kate Jackson, Patricia Arquette, Spike Lee, John Watters, Gene Wilder, Former Washington State House Speaker Joe King, Tacoma Mayor Marilyn Strickland, and many other CEOs and Executive leaders from around the region.

Our coaching is designed to help reveal and harness untapped abilities, insights, and energy in order to guide professional development and personal growth. A coaching engagement focuses uniquely on the client, and is a partnership centered on the client’s needs. It creates clear awareness of the current state – while consciously moving toward an inspired future.
